Almond flour – 3 to 4 tablespoon
Egg – 1 no
Baking powder – 1 1/2 tablespoon
Cooking soda – a pinch
Cumin seeds – 1/4 tablespoon
Onion – 1 (thinely sliced)
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Chilli powder – 1/4 tablespoon
Butter – 2 to 3 tablespoon
Cheese – 1 to 2 slices or melted Mozzarella Cheese 4 to 5 tablespoon
In a wok,heat a 1/2 tablespoon of butter and add Cummins, onions, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt . Saute until it turns into light brown.Keep it aside for the stuffing.
In a blender, mix almond flour,egg, baking powder, cooking soda and required salt together. See to the amount of salt you are adding since we have salt in the stuffing.
Add half of the mixture in a baking bowl.Stuff the bun mixture now with the onion masala. Pour the remaining bun mixture over it.
Bake this for 2 to 3 minutes and the masala bun is ready. You can have this as plain as it is. Here I cut the buns into two halves.Applied some butter and stuff the cheese between the buns .This hot masala buns can also be refregirated and stored for 1 or 2 days. To reheat,use steam mode and the softness remains.
